PwC Exits from Over a Dozen Countries to Avoid Global Scandal Fallout and More Risks

The move follows penalties, with a $62 million fine and six-month suspension in China over audit failures tied to Evergrandeās $78 billion fraud, and a Ā£4.5 million fine in the UK for auditing failures at Wyelands Bank. PwC is also trying to repair relations with Saudi Arabia after its $925 billion wealth fund suspended dealings.
